Objective: To examine immunoglobulin concentrations in the sera of children with type 1 diabetes and to compare them with those found in non-diabetic subjects.Patients and Method: Serum immunoglobulin A and D concentrations were measured by ELISA in 35 children with type 1 diabetes and 46 healthy children (younger than 15 years of age).Results: Serum immunoglobulin levels increase until the age of 15 but no sex variation has been found.
